Finally!

Well, it took us 10 months but we finally managed to have a baby dedication for Bradley.  It seemed like a long time since we usually had these done when they were days or weeks old, not months.  This is something that we do at our church...we do not give our children salvation but we, as his parents, commit ourselves to raising him in such a way that (we pray) he will grow up and choose God.  My parents managed to make the trip down for this and it's always special to have them there.

We are asked to choose a verse to give to our child as a hope and a prayer and for Bradley we chose Colossians 1:9-10:

"And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."

There is nothing I pray harder for than my children to choose God every time.
