That song always gets stuck in my head whenever we take off on vacation (at least when we go by air!)
I'm scheduling this post, so hopefully by the time anyone reads this, I'm all packed, checked in with the airlines and just hanging out one last day before we leave SUPER, SUPER early in the morning. We are very excited to be heading here....
(Images taken from the internet - not mine!)
This is a stunning view, but this one will perhaps give you a better idea of what we will actually be experiencing....
(Ditto the above disclaimer...though I do have a similar photo in my arsenal somewhere.)
The kids are really excited to go and Jason & I will be more excited once the 7 1/4 hour flight is done! In case you want to see what else we're going to be up to, you can follow us on the travel blog we have once again resurrected....
Jason & Sandra's Travels
Until next time (well, until next time, I'll be sitting in the sun with temps around 25 or so...at least that's what we hope!)...

For Carol!
Finally, I finished a project. I love the feeling of having one done, too bad it takes me so long to get there! Carol, this is for you...one day you'll even get it in person!
Until next time...

Lessons Learned
So, about a week or so ago, I learned a few lessons...
Lesson #1 - No matter what the internet tells you, substituting 2% milk for whipping cream or half and half in a fondue recipe does not really work...unless you actually like chocolate soup (maybe not such a bad idea!)
Lesson #2 - There is no way that equal parts milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips and Nutella has anywhere NEAR enough Nutella in it to even be called Nutella fondue (next time...add WAY more Nutella)
Lesson #3 - Regardless of the first two lessons, if I had it to do over again, I would so make fondue with 2% milk and not enough Nutella, just because this is so fun....
Until next time...
